Who is behind this treachery and why are they targeting the Royal Family itself for blame and scandal? Why is a haunting children’s nursery rhyme suddenly on everyone’s mind? There are few clues to go on other than whispers of a mythical race of shape shifters and Dyven’s hand scribbled drawing of a goat’s eye. Other Realms

Other Realms

Ular walked away from the two lovers, suddenly contemplating his own life choices. He had worked all his life for other people. He had given himself over to full-time service to several kings, the military, history, exploration and preservation, international diplomacy, and scientific reasearch. He had spent so many years in the service of others that he had never thought of pursuing anything for himself. He had spent so many years discovering other places that he had never really discovered himself. With a sigh, Ular looked out at his ship. Deep down, he suspected that this voyage of discovery at Martosilla would be his final one.

Now in his sixties, a tired and weary Ular finds himself to be the last surviving member of a heroic generation. Lonely and struggling with his own mortality, he decides to journal his strange dreams of a superior race of humans and bizarre visions of other worlds in the hopes of discovering himself.

The Hidden Empire

The Hidden Empire

“Where did you find this bottle with a note from Amonwulf?” Ular asked, wide-eyed. "I found it washed up on the shore while fishing at the ocean,” Sofronius said. “It’s meaningless, though.” “Before you Tempests get all excited,” Talura warned, “You should know that these things pop up all over Diaxophas these days. You guys are celebrities. That note was probably written by a kid.” “You said that the bottle is meaningless, but you were wrong,” Ular said. “This bottle is the key.” “The key to what?” Grazio asked. “To Amonwulf being alive,” Ular said.

When a message in a bottle is found by the Nysterion, the Tempests believe that it is from their friend, Amonwulf, who was believed to have died years ago. Tracing Amonwulf’s movements through multiple countries, disguises, prison breaks, lost cities, secret societies, and conspiracies, the Tempests and Nysterion join forces to find out what really happened to their long lost friend.

Dead Whisperings

Dead Whisperings

When Ular is given the lost journal of Korvlos the Usurper, he is surprised to read descriptions of the tragic accounts of the decline and fall of Old Tarthalla and prophecies of the future destruction of mankind. Each tale is more outrageous than the next, filled with information that Ular initially dismisses as the fanciful imagination of a twisted, broken mind. More disturbing is the fact that Korvlos claimed to have received these tales from listening to the dead whisper their tales to him. However, when Ular makes startling connections between Korvlos’ tales and his own life, he is forced to reevaluate whether or not Korvlos was telling the truth... or whether or not he himself is going insane.

Retribution

However, he soon finds himself caught up in a web of murder, deception, greed, and corruption that causes him to question the true meaning of life, death, retribution, and redemption.
